Join the AAE!

Membership in the AAE is currently open to freelance editorial professionals with demonstrated experience working on visual arts publications and media. Annual memberships are $75, payable by credit card, Zelle, or personal check.

Please note: AAE membership is for individual freelance editors only. Editing agencies and editors who primarily subcontract work are not eligible.

We are exploring membership options for other arts publishing professionals, such as museum staff members, and hope to share more soon.
